Contents:

Software engineering is concerned with languages, methods, and tools for the systematic construction of large and complex software systems. In software engineering, management of the software development process plays a central role. This lecture gives an introduction into the management of software development processes. In particular, it covers the following disciplines: project management, software configuration management, software process modeling, workflow management, and process improvement.

Prerequisites:

This lecture addresses students in the main study phase. It is assumed that students are familiar with programming, but knowledge of software engineering is not required.

Dates:

weekly until 28.07.04, but not on 02.06. and 14.07.
